Wine Type: Red Wine.
Grape variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Tempranillo.
Ageing Procedure: 24-month rest in American and French oak barrels and a later rest in bottle.
Alcohol Content: Around 12.50º.
Production Area: Vino de Extremadura.
Soil composition: Moderately clayey.
Wine features: Ruby-red coloured wine with evolution rims and a medium-high intensity. This wine opens quickly, offering special notes and the presence of a wood taste, which is tinged by the remains of fruitiness and alcohol. It is complex, due to its good harmony and scent abundance. In mouth, a good entry and a great expressiveness can be noticed. With a moderate acidity and a suitable structure with warm and soft tannins, it presents a pronounced meatiness after spending ten minutes in the glass. Its aftertaste has some toasted sugar nuances.
Serving suggestions: At a temperature ranging between 18º and 20ºC, it can match with meat from season hunted animals, lamb, goat liver, Iberian pig sirloin just grilled over and over in a pan and a great variety of natural food. At a lower temperature, it goes well with soft cheese. Open the bottle 1 or 2 hours before its consumption.
